Since our inception in 1999 we at “The Original” Online Casino Guide, have strived to give our readers an honest evaluation of the honest casinos we analyze and recommend to our readers. Recently it has come to our attention that there are less than acceptable business practices being endorsed by one of the largest Casino and Poker room operators on the Internet. Referred to in the industry as “Rogue Casinos.” They create thousands of websites using stolen content.

What this means:
A rogue casino and their affiliate webmasters steal content (called site scraping), with the approval and endorsement of the casino, using robots, from thousands of honest websites and use the content as their own (they are paid to do this) to manipulate the Search Engine rankings for the casino.
Another unethical method being used is known as blog-spamming. The extent of this being done by 888.com, Casino on Net, and Pacific Poker placing tens of thousands of irrelevant posts as players with links to the casino, has forced thousands of very useful blogs to close down. All due to greed! This unscrupulous practice is just not acceptable.
The content that is being stolen is copyrighted material written by hard working honest webmasters.
Six weeks of talks with the owners/operators of 888.com, Casino on Net and Pacific Poker have resulted, not with a denial of these practices, but a refusal to stop these illegal and immoral practices! The CAP certification of 888.com, Casino on Net, and Pacific Poker has been revoked.
What can WE do? Well, you are reading what WE are doing, fighting back by creating a total boycott of these rogue casinos. We would like to see these casinos closed down, or at the very least lose all search engine rankings relating to the offending casinos. Hitting them where it hurts….your dollars income. If they endorse these practices to cheat the industry, what do you think they do to YOU THE PLAYER?
